Dharma is a top ten Finalist with the Actor's Theatre of Charlotte

The Actor's Theatre of Charlotte has announced that Dharma is a top ten finalist for its annual nuVoices Festival.  The annual festival focuses on original and cutting-edge playwriting. The festival offers a unique program that fosters appreciation for the creative process of playwrights while putting together a one-of-a-kind event for the national thespian community. The process begins with a period of play submissions that are narrowed down to a handful of chosen works. Directors, designers and actors are brought together to help the playwrights breathe life into their plays, which are then showcased at staged readings, with a single play chosen as the festival’s winner.

2015 Residency

I am honored to have been awarded a three-month writing residency in France which is, in part, funded by the Tenot Foundation. It is in cooperation with the Camac and Artistay.

I've received this residency based on my international development and social justice work, including a pilot on the futility of anti-trafficking programming in Asia.
