I’m delighted to have been awarded a residency at The Hawthornden Castle Writers’ Retreat in Midlothian, Scotland. The month-long retreat in 2026 will be based in the Castle (15th–17th century) on a wooded gorge above the River North Esk, offering a quiet, secluded setting. All expenses are covered and a stipend is provided. Each year, this opportunity invites writers from all over the world.
